Student Association of Cell Biology of the Jagiellonian University cordially invites you to the 6th International Conference of Cell Biology. It will take place on 7th, 7th and 8th of November 2020 at Jagiellonian University.

International Conference of Cell Biology is a scientific event held annually since 2014 at the Faculty of Biology of the Jagiellonian University. The conference aims to provide a platform for students and young scientists to share their knowledge and strengthen cooperation, as well as to discuss, present, and evaluate their own research findings.

As the conference has an interdisciplinary character, so it enables a dialogue between scientists of many different nationalities and fields of molecular biology. The presentations of the attendees of our conference cover a broad range of topics, ranging from animal cell biology to that of plants, including medical biology, immunology, genetics, stem cells, pharmacy, biotechnology, as well as cancer biology, biophysics, biochemistry and chronobiology.

International Conference of Cell Biology is being organized by our Association for the sixth time and each year we host about 150-200 participants in Cracow. In order to inspire the them to choose their own career paths in the most rapidly developing branches of cell biology, we ask prominent scientists to share their vast knowledge and experience with us. Among the invited guests were: Professor Hugh Piggins from the University of Manchester, Professor Christoph Neumayer, a surgeon and lecturer from the Medical University of Vienna, Professor Chiara Zuccato from the University of Milan, and Professor Bandana Chatterjee from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
